About
Lara Zakaria is an integrative nutritionist and pharmacist whose passion for whole-person care began early in her pharmacy career, where she noticed how many people were living with symptoms that medication alone couldn’t resolve. Her own experience with chronic reflux and joint pain in her twenties pushed her to look deeper, eventually leading her to the science of nutrition, metabolism, and lifestyle medicine — and reshaping her entire approach to health.
Today, Lara focuses on helping women in their mid-30s and beyond navigate the metabolic, hormonal, and digestive shifts that often show up during stressful, transitional chapters of life. She blends evidence-based nutrition with herbal support and practical lifestyle strategies, offering clients a clear understanding of why their bodies feel the way they do — and what they can do to feel better.
Lara’s care philosophy is simple: people deserve personalized, compassionate guidance rooted in science and delivered with humanity. She meets clients exactly where they are, helping them build sustainable habits without restriction, overwhelm, or pressure. Her background in pharmacy allows her to bridge the gap between medications and nutrition, giving clients a safer, more complete understanding of their health picture.
Lara holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS). She also has advanced training in integrative and lifestyle medicine, including botanical and herbal approaches for clients who prefer a natural complement to their nutrition plan.
Outside of her work, Lara is happiest outdoors — hiking, snowboarding, cycling — as well as exploring music, collecting books, and experimenting in the kitchen. She’s fully embracing her strength-training era these days, with an eye toward staying active and adventurous well into her 80s. It mirrors her coaching philosophy — practical, sustainable habits that strengthen your health now and support the long game ahead.
She is available for nutrition-focused care including metabolic health, digestive support, hormone balance, and whole-person wellness coaching.
