About Me

Laura’s interest in nutrition started in 2008 when her husband was going through a strenuous training program in the military and needed tailored nutrition to sustain his energy and build muscle. Her interest was further strengthened when her middle child presented with a slew of food allergies that she needed to work around to give her child optimal nutrients. Her training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as cardiovascular disease, renal disease, women’s health issues, pre/post-natal nutrition, gut issues, and help with disease prevention/wellness. Laura was also able to help her father with ideal nutrition throughout his cancer journey and subsequence chemo treatments. She has additional passion for the areas of sports nutrition and food allergies due to her personal experiences.

Laura Believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with a collaborative approach. She enjoys empowering clients to understand how to nourish and move their bodies in a way that is right for them.

Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. She has a Master of Science in Nutrition from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC.

Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids, and German Shepard. She loves being outdoors camping, hiking, skiing, kayaking, biking, and exploring the PNW where she lives. She also adores a good book, cooking, and gardening.
