About Me
Laura Kraus’s journey into dietetics was fueled by her fascination with the human body and a passion for cooking. Through her own experimentation with diet to help her manage fatigue and skin issues, she discovered the transformative impact food can have on how we feel and has since dedicated her career to helping others unlock their potential through personalized nutrition. Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Neuroscience and a Master’s degree in Nutrition and is also a Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach.
With expertise in blood sugar management (including pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes), metabolic syndrome, whole foods cooking, culinary medicine, holistic health, and coaching, Laura takes an evidence-based, client-centered approach to care. She is also interested in healthy aging and perimenopause and likes supporting clients navigating these phases of life. Laura believes in the power of individuals to take control of their health and views her role as a facilitator in that journey. Her approach extends beyond nutrition, helping clients identify lifestyle and mindset barriers, so they can take meaningful steps toward becoming their healthiest selves.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, gardening, crocheting, various fitness pursuits, hiking, experimenting with new recipes, and attending concerts.
