About Me

Lauren has always been interested in food, nutrition, and cooking. She started college as a dance major and became aware of how food would make her feel during intense exercise. She watched her grandmother struggle with diabetes and saw how her food choices could make her feel better. She then pursued nutrition to help others feel their best.

For the past ten years, Lauren has spent her time working at an outpatient weight loss and bariatric surgery program. Throughout those years, she has worked with patients in an office setting and a virtual setting. Lauren takes a food as medicine approach to eating and works with individuals to develop habits that work for them long term, NOT dieting. Her mission is to help everyone feel their best everyday through food, nutrition, and lifestyle.

Lauren graduated from Arizona State University with her Bachelor of Science and her Master of Science degrees. She completed her dietetic internship at the Carl T Hayden Phoenix VA. Here, Lauren was able to develop more of her counseling skills in the outpatient setting. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys Pilates, simple cooking and entertaining friends and family with fancy cooking.
