About Me

Maggie is a Masters level Registered Dietitian who specializes in Gut, Metabolic and Inflammatory Conditions. She is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill. Maggie completed her Nutrition training at Appalachian State University. She is a graduate of Duke Integrative Health Coaching Foundations Course in 2021. She has advanced training and clinical experience in Integrative and Functional Nutrition. This holistic approach utilizes an expanded toolkit of evidence-based practices that can be employed to address root cause, reduce inflammation, support the microbiome, address micronutrient deficiencies, and more.

Maggie’s passion for nutrition was sparked at the Farmers Market after trying her first freshly dug, local carrot. She loves to help people reconnect with food and build confidence around cooking while exploring how tasty and nourishing whole foods can be. Whether you are new to working with a nutritionist or are looking for a more holistic approach, Maggie seeks to listen deeply to each person, and aims be a partner with you along your health journey. In her free time, you will most likely find Maggie with her hands in the garden, playing in the kitchen, or out exploring in nature with her family and their goldendoodle puppy, Luna.
