About Me
Megan's interest in nutrition began with her lifelong passion for health and wellness, from enjoying sports at a young age to realizing how crucial the way we care for our bodies is to our quality of life and longevity. During her undergraduate studies, a professor introduced her to the concept of an “upstream approach” to health, which completely changed her perspective on prevention. Instead of focusing on treating illness after the fact, she learned the importance of making proactive choices to maintain health and prevent chronic disease. Whether working with clients to prevent chronic conditions or supporting those already managing existing health concerns, Megan is committed to helping individuals improve their health through personalized nutrition care.
Megan has extensive training in Medical Nutrition Therapy, with experience as a clinical oncology dietitian and a special focus on enteral nutrition and tube feeding. She also has a passion for helping clients with weight management, integrating physical activity, and promoting mindful eating. She is dedicated to working with clients to prevent and manage chronic conditions such as cancer, obesity, heart disease, and other nutrition-related health issues.
She believes in taking a holistic approach to care, refusing to accept the “all or nothing” mindset that often surrounds nutrition. Megan prioritizes flexibility and sustainability, ensuring that her clients can still enjoy their favorite foods while learning how to manage their health. She is empathetic and understands that everyone’s journey is unique, making it her priority to meet clients where they are and help them set realistic, achievable goals for their health and wellness.
Megan graduated with a Master of Public Health in Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Kansas State University, where she also holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
