About
Melanie's interest in nutrition started in 2004 when she really began to understand, through College classes, the connection between exercise and proper nutrition allowing one to feel well and live longer. Her training in various areas of nutrition and exercise as well as extensive Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as ( weight loss, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, intolerances/sensitivities to food, etc.) and disease prevention/wellness. Melanie has additional passion for the areas of faith, family, the outdoors and sports (more so being the spectator).
Melanie believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with a real, empathetic and honest approach. They feel the best way to change is to start by addressing and acknowledging what needs to change. Then seeking the help that most appropriately supports that for you.
Melanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise Science from The University of Minnesota Duluth and completed a Master’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Wisconsin, Stout.
Melanie enjoys "God, Family and The Green Bay Packers, in that order" -Vince Lombardi
