About Me

Michelle's interest in nutrition started during college after realizing just how much nutrition can impact our daily lives. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in nutritional sciences, Michelle then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition. She finds sports nutrition to be the most interesting realm of nutrition, which was the primary focus of her graduate degree. Michelle can also support a variety of health conditions including Diabetes, High Cholesterol, Cardiovascular Disease, Inflammatory conditions, Obesity, etc.

Michelle believes in an empathetic, but goal oriented approach to nutrition counseling. Michelle works with you, and the approach that best meets your needs, to obtain lifelong change. She believes that overall health and nutrition is a marathon, not a sprint by focusing on making small, lasting behavioral change.

In her free time, Michelle enjoys photography, reading for her book club, cooking, writing, and living in coastal Maine. She loves her dog Bruno, traveling, and drinking really really good coffee! :)
