About Me

Noemy Jorge is a Spanish speaking Dominican American Registered Dietitian, with a Bachelor’s and master’s in nutrition. Having completed her dietetic internship from the Puerto Rico Department of Health she has worked as a Clinical Nutrition Manager at New York Eye & Ear (NYEE) Infirmary of Mount Sinai where she provided clinical nutrition support to post-operative transgender patients, she worked with people with HIV/AIDS at a Long-Term Care Facility and currently provides community nutrition services to various non-profits including Head Start Programs and Senior Centers as well as virtual nutrition consultations and workshops. Noemy has spoken at the US Professional Association for Transgender Health (PATH) 2019 Scientific Symposium in Washington D.C. and at the Morrison Healthcare Clinical Nutrition Symposium in 2020 in Oklahoma City. Noemy has acquired vast knowledge to help infants, children, lactation, pregnancy, diabetes, heart disease, GI issues, weight loss, weight management, and so much more in both clinical and community settings in her 12+ years of practice. She loves facilitating Nutrition and Cooking Workshops and focuses on an Intuitive/Mindful Eating approach inclusive of cultural foods to break diet cycles and improve health outcomes.
