About Me
As a wellness dietitian for the past seven years, I have helped individuals with a wide variety of conditions (women's health, autoimmune disorders, weight management, and more). My passion stems from learning through my own nutrition struggles. After years of stomach pain and bloating, I followed the Low FODMAP diet and was able to determine I have a severe gluten intolerance. Fast forward a few years, and I struggled with low potassium throughout my pregnancy which caused high blood pressure, along with breast feeding difficulties that I later resolved through exclusive pumping and diet changes. I also strive to help others understand their gene variants and the effect that nutrition plays in preventing disease occurrence. Because of this, I have recently started offering nutrigenomics counseling as an option for clients as well. I feel as though I can best relate to my patients not only through my expertise but my personal experience.
I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and Minor in Public Health from Bowling Green State University, and completed my Dietetic Internship at West Virginia University Medicine. Most recently, I finished my Master’s in Public Health from The University of Toledo.
