About Me
Peyton has had a unique journey to becoming a RDN. After graduating from Johnson & Wales University for Culinary Nutrition, she went on to work for a weight loss clinic in which she quickly learned going back to school to become a Dietitian was her calling. Upon returning to school to obtain her Certificate in Nutrition & Dietetics, she worked as a dietary assistant at an eating disorder clinic located in Chicago, IL. There, she worked with adults & adolescents suffering from Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia, Diabulimia, Dumping Syndrome, Anorexia Nervosa, ARFID, & Disordered Eating. As her certificate program was finishing up, she taught cooking classes with an after school program across Chicagoland schools for ages PreK through 5th. This prompted her to apply to a dietetic internship rooted in school nutrition & help land her first job as a school district Dietitian in Wisconsin. After working for a little, she realized she missed that one-on-one experience working with patients & led her to her current full-time position working as an Inpatient Clinical Dietitian! Yet again, Peyton craved more patient care and applied to Berry Street to allow her to take on patients in a more intimate, outpatient role! Peyton is thrilled to have that one-on-one time with patients to help create, personalize, & achieve patient focused nutrition goals!
