About

Meet Becki Parsons – Registered Dietitian and Certified

Clinical Exercise Physiologist. Becki graduated from Washington State University with a Master of Science in Nutrition & Exercise Physiology knowing that she wanted to help others improve their health. In 2021, she began exploring functional nutrition and hasn't looked back. Functional healthcare is what Becki believes all healthcare should be - seeking root-cause solutions to address the actual dysfunction in the body, rather than work around it with restrictive diets or symptom-covering medications. The addition of gut health, hormone health, toxin, and micronutrient testing to her practice has allowed her to help so many of her clients stop suffering with symptoms they've had for years. She is honored that her clients voted her Best Dietitian/Nutritionist in the South Sound in 2025.

Becki believes that healthy is a spectrum, not an all-or-nothing wagon off which you fall. What works for one person may not work for another, and that is usually more about personality, lifestyle, preferences, family, culture, etc. than it is about willpower. That misunderstanding tends to be a primary cause of feelings of disempowerment and helplessness — people see certain plans, diets, or habits working for someone else but they can’t seem to stick to them. That makes them feel like a failure, when in reality that plan was totally wrong for their lifestyle or their body. Becki never provides a one-size-fits-all plan to her clients.

As a self-proclaimed foodie who loves enjoying life, it's important that you are enjoying your day-to-day, and it's crucial that whatever plan you put in place reflects that.

Becki's care philosophies:

*A healthy person is not just physically healthy, but spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and relationally healthy. I will never recommend that you sacrifice one for the sake of the others.

*It’s not my job to make your decisions for you. It’s my job to inform your decisions.

*Healthy doesn’t have to be hard – it can become hard when you are being dismissed or unsupported by your healthcare team, if your body doesn’t act how you expect, or if you’re following over-restrictive non-evidence based advice. I’m here to help on all counts.

*I may know nutrition/fitness, but you know you best. Together, we can find your nutrition/fitness.

*Skinny does not equal healthy. Healthy does not equal skinny.

*An all-or-nothing approach always ends up being nothing in the end.
