About

Hi, I'm Rosemary, a holistic Registered Dietitian who takes a compassionate, whole-person approach to nutrition. I specialize in mindful and intuitive eating, gastrointestinal nutrition, and diabetes management. I help women navigate weight concerns without getting caught up in diet culture.

My holistic approach recognizes that nutrition is about more than food. Your relationship with food can be influenced by your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, stress, sleep, nervous system, life experiences, and the environment around you. We'll look at the whole picture rather than focusing on one number or one behavior.

My approach is centered on helping you reconnect with your body and develop a more trusting and peaceful relationship with food. Rather than focusing only on what you "should" eat, we'll explore your individual patterns, hunger and fullness cues, thoughts and emotions around food, and what your body may be trying to tell you so you can discover your true physical, emotional and spiritual needs. My goal is to help you develop sustainable habits that support your physical health while also creating greater confidence, freedom, and peace around food.

I have a bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition and Sociology and a master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology. My background allows me to integrate nutrition science with mindfulness and an understanding of the connection between the body, mind, and emotions.

I provide specialized nutrition therapy focusing on mindful/intuitive eating, diabetes care, and GI health to help you build a sustainable path to wellness. I can also order appropriate blood tests and gastrointestinal testing when indicated to further assess your health needs.

Most importantly, I believe that you are the expert on your own body. My role is to provide knowledge, guidance, and a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can become curious about what works best for you. I look forward to partnering with you on your health journey.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with my family and being in nature. I live in Maine and find walking in the woods and hiking in the mountains especially restorative.
