About Me
Sarah's mission is for her clients to feel heard, understood, and energized. She will partner with you to build your signature toolbox for nutrition success. She knows that every person is unique with rich culture, family traditions, and food preferences. There's no one-size-fits-all here!
Sarah understands nutrition can feel overwhelming with social media, the news, and family and friends giving you various information. She is here to breakdown your biggest and smallest questions to help build a solid nutrition foundation and block out the noise of diet-culture and unwanted comments from peers.
Clients will have the tools to understand their labs, how to approach a healthcare provider to ask for what you need, choosing supplements (as needed), building satisfying meals, meal planning, and deciphering their own hunger cues.
As a life-long athlete and collegiate rower, Sarah is suited to help you fuel for performance, whether that be running marathons, weight lifting, attending your favorite group fitness class, or playing tennis. She will give you the tools so you can hit new heights.
Women's health, especially as it pertains to pre- and post-pregnancy is one of her greatest passions. She will guide you in all stages from selecting a prenatal, to navigating the challenges of the first trimester, to fueling your body post-partum with meals that can be consumed single-handed. Sarah can be your partner in managing PCOS, irregular menstrual cycles, and navigating the transitions of perimenopause and menopause.
Working with Sarah, you will be able to find your way out of disordered eating patterns and improve your body image with positive self-talk techniques.
If weight management is your goal, we will work together so you feel optimistic at each stage of your journey. She wants you to feel hopeful that long-term success can be achieved as defined by you.
Sarah has extensive experience with heart healthy eating for those with high cholesterol and high blood pressure. As a provider with ADHD, she can empathize with these challenges and guide you in overcoming the mental load of the admin tasks of feeding yourself.
Sarah is a second career registered dietitian finding her way into the nutrition field via an unconventional path. She graduated with her masters in Human Nutrition from Drexel University in her hometown of Philadelphia and completed her supervised practice in Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and the Richmond Veteran's Affair Medical Center. She quickly returned to Philadelphia to start her career as a registered dietitian. She looks forward to impacting the lives of all of her clients!
When she's not working with clients, Sarah enjoys traveling the world, taking walks with friends and getting ice cream, making mosaic art, spending time at the beach, and staying active at the gym or in the pool. She's an advocate for sustainable food systems and shopping in a way that minimizes costs and waste.
