About

Shannon's interest in nutrition started when her oldest child was diagnosed with autism, her youngest child was diagnosed with sensory processing disorder, and she was struggling with IBS, depression, and anxiety. She and her children implemented a gut healing diet that changed the course of their lives for the better. It was then that she learned the power of using food as medicine.

Wanting to help others heal using food and integrative health, Shannon obtained her Masters of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health with an area of concentration in Herbal Medicine from Maryland University of Integrative Health. She was trained in Medical Nutrition Therapy and functional nutrition to help those struggling with a wide range of health conditions from mental health including anxiety and depression, to neurological health like ADHD, to metabolic conditions like weight gain, diabetes and high cholesterol.

Shannon has a passion for using a root cause approach to identifying the underlying triggers of health issues to reverse these conditions and help her clients find relief. Every client is unique and Shannon enjoys meeting people where they are at and collaborating to bring about life-long health.

Shannon lives in Colorado and enjoys hiking, skiing, paddleboarding and camping in the mountains with her husband and two teenage boys. She also enjoys reading, enjoying all types of food with friends, and spending time with her 2 cats and dog.
