About

Sonia Juarez’s interest in nutrition began when she saw the impact that food and lifestyle changes had on her own family’s health, inspiring her to pursue a career in helping others heal through nutrition. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Purdue University and has worked in the conventional medical field for more than 20 years across a wide range of specialty offices. This experience gives her a unique perspective in bridging traditional medicine with integrative nutrition care.

Sonia later completed her Master of Science (MS) in Nutrition and Integrative Health at Maryland University of Integrative Health, where she trained in motivational interviewing. She is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN), and also holds a Food Safety Manager certification. Her professional training includes over 1,000 hours of supervised clinical nutrition internship under a Naturopathic Doctor, where she provided personalized MNT to diverse patient populations.

Sonia takes an investigative approach to nutrition care, using research and clinical reasoning to uncover root causes and prioritize which conditions need to be addressed first. She supports clients with a wide variety of health concerns, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer survivorship, gastrointestinal and immune conditions, and overall disease prevention and wellness.

She is especially passionate about integrative and personalized nutrition, emphasizing the role of whole foods, stress management, and building small, sustainable habits that lead to long-term results. Sonia believes that everyone deserves compassionate, evidence-based nutritional care, and she enjoys empowering clients to find their own unique path to wellness.

Outside of nutrition, Sonia enjoys spending quality time with her three children, exploring her artistic side, and discovering new restaurants or places that offer a bit of history.
