About

Dr. Sydney Kehrmann’s passion for nutrition began at a young age while working in a local health food store, where she developed a deep appreciation for the connection between food, natural medicine, and health. Her own experience with chronic health concerns and the transformative impact of nutrition and natural medicine ultimately inspired her to pursue naturopathic medicine and dedicate her career to helping others use nutrition as a foundation for healing.

As a Naturopathic Doctor and functional nutrition specialist, Dr. Kehrmann takes a holistic, individualized, and evidence-informed approach to care. Her training allows her to support patients with a variety of chronic health concerns, including metabolic and cardiovascular health, digestive health, autoimmune conditions, hormonal and women’s health concerns, and disease prevention and overall wellness. She has a particular passion for autoimmunity and women’s health, nutrition, and identifying the underlying factors contributing to chronic illness.

Dr. Kehrmann believes that nutrition should be personalized, practical, and empowering—not restrictive or one-size-fits-all. She enjoys helping each patient understand their unique nutritional needs, develop a healthier relationship with food, and find sustainable changes that support their health and quality of life. Her approach combines nutrition with naturopathic medicine, lifestyle modification, botanical medicine, and targeted supplementation when appropriate.

Dr. Kehrmann earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Millikin University, graduating summa cum laude, and her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from National University of Health Sciences, where she graduated summa cum laude and as class valedictorian. She also completed advanced credentials in nutrition to further integrate functional and evidence-based nutrition into her practice.
