About Me

Symone’s interest in nutrition began during her undergraduate years when she started struggling with acne. She quickly noticed how her skin responded to dietary changes, which sparked her curiosity about the connection between food and health. This personal experience led her to explore the healing power of nutrition and recognize the lack of education many people have around it. Driven by a passion to bridge that gap, Symone went on to pursue a doctorate in naturopathic medicine, where she learned to integrate natural therapies and science to support whole-person healing.

During her clinical training, Symone supported patients with a wide range of conditions including multiple sclerosis, IBS, PCOS, hormonal imbalances, fertility concerns, ADD/ADHD, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, autoimmune disorders, and digestive issues. Her special interests include acne, autoimmune disorders, women’s health, fertility, hormone balance, liver support, and gut health—areas she feels deeply connected to through her own healing journey and the transformation she’s witnessed in her patients.

Symone believes that everyone deserves access to compassionate, holistic nutritional care. She practices with the belief that healing happens through education, patience, and grace, and that sustainable change starts with understanding the body’s unique needs. Her approach is rooted in empowering clients with knowledge while creating realistic, personalized strategies for long-term wellness.

Symone holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Health Sciences. She is a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist and a Certified Nutrition Specialist.

Outside of work, Symone enjoys spending time outdoors, trying new recipes, relaxing with family and friends, and watching her favorite TV shows. She also enjoys puzzles, arts and crafts, and listening to jazz music.
