About

Yuk Yi Lam, MS, RD's passion for nutrition began with a deep appreciation for the power of food as medicine—seeing firsthand how everyday dietary choices can profoundly shape long-term vitality, healing, and disease prevention. Her comprehensive training in Medical Nutrition Therapy supports clients across a broad spectrum of health needs, including diabetes management, cardiovascular health, renal nutrition, oncology support, weight loss management and preventative wellness. Having completed specialized dietetic training with a plant-based emphasis, Yuk Yi holds a strong passion for plant-forward eating and sustainable weight management. She loves helping individuals discover how incorporating vibrant, nutrient-dense whole foods can balance blood sugar, optimize energy levels, and make healthy eating genuinely enjoyable rather than restrictive.

Yuk Yi believes that everyone deserves compassionate, individualized nutritional care and practices with an evidence-based, culturally attuned approach. She feels that optimal health is never one-size-fits-all, and she takes pride in helping each client build a harmonious relationship with food—one where personal goals, busy routines, and cherished cultural dishes are celebrated together. Multilingual in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, she is dedicated to making nutrition guidance accessible and comfortable for clients from diverse backgrounds.

Yuk Yi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science & Dietetics (alongside dual minors in Fitness Education and Business Administration), She also earned her Master of Science in Nutrition and Wellness. She completed her rigorous dietetic internship through Kettering Health Network, gaining intensive clinical experience across acute inpatient care and outpatient counseling.

Outside of her clinical work, Yuk Yi is a classically trained harpist and pianist, as well as a dedicated ballet practitioner. She channels the discipline, grace, and balance cultivated through music and movement directly into her holistic approach to patient wellness.
