About Me

Ashley became interested in nutrition long before she became a registered dietitian. Growing up in the southeast United States, Ashley saw how food insecurity and unhealthy eating habits led to health problems in her family. Later, after dealing with her own digestive issues, she discovered how much nutrition helped her manage her condition. This experience inspired her to help others facing similar struggles.

Ashley trained in digestive health nutrition and has continued her education to support people with conditions like Gastroparesis, IBS/SIBO, IBD, Celiac, and malnutrition caused by chronic illness. While digestive health is her main focus, Ashley also helps people with sports nutrition, general wellness, sustainable eating, and making food choices that improve their quality of life.

Ashley believes that everyone deserves personal and caring nutrition advice. She works closely with each client, making sure they feel safe and supported as they find a healthy relationship with food.

Ashley earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master of Science degree in Sports Nutrition from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She also received her dietetic training through Bastyr University.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys reading, learning new things, practicing yoga, cycling, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her spouse and two cats. She also loves exploring new places and experiencing different cultures through food.
