About
irsten Kessler is a Certified Nutrition Specialist and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist with a doctorate in naturopathic medicine. Her interest in nutrition grew out of her clinical training and seeing how often women were told everything looked normal, but still did not feel well. She was drawn to nutrition because it offers a practical, day-to-day way to support the body and understand what it needs.
She works primarily with women who feel like something is off, even when labs appear normal. Many of her clients are navigating digestive issues, blood sugar changes, fatigue, PCOS, or hormone shifts, especially in midlife. She also works with men who are looking for a clear, practical approach to improving their nutrition and overall health.
Her approach is collaborative and practical. She focuses on helping clients understand patterns in their body and build a nutrition plan that fits their real life. Rather than jumping from one approach to the next, she emphasizes strong foundations like digestion, blood sugar balance, and daily habits, then makes steady adjustments based on how each person responds.
Clients often come to her feeling overwhelmed or unsure what to try next. Together, they create a plan that feels manageable and clear, leading to more steady energy, improved digestion, and greater confidence around food and daily choices.
Outside of her work, Kirsten values simple, consistent routines. She starts every morning with a cup of Earl Grey tea, something she has done for over 20 years. She has also re-found her love for swimming, which she appreciates as both a reset and a way to stay active, and enjoys camping with her husband and their dogs, Murph and Lucy.
